What the extension does

The MTC Cookie Manager reads, writes and deletes cookies for sites you open in your browser. It runs entirely locally.

What data we collect

None. The extension does not send any information to us or any third party. It has no telemetry, no analytics, no remote code, and no network I/O beyond browser-native downloads you explicitly trigger (Export).

What the extension stores locally

• A single boolean in chrome.storage.local to remember that you dismissed the first-run explainer.

Permissions and why

• cookies, host_permissions: <all_urls> — required by the browser to read and write cookies for the current site.
• activeTab, tabs — determine which site you’re on.
• storage — remember the first-run dismissal.
• downloads — save exported cookies to your machine.
